‘Give me 1 Minute of Human Rights ’ aimed to raise awareness and defend all aspects of Human Rights for all people, to defend social justice, equality, and a worthy development of all people and communities guaranteed by their human rights.

‘Give me 1 Minute of ’ reclaimed that all people are equal and have the same rights and obligations; and we should all defend the rights of all people. No one can void these rights and we have the obligation to safeguard it whenever it is violated.

In the 5th Contest of Audiovisual Works ‘Give me 1 Minute of Human Rights’ the winners were the audiovisual works of 1 minute in length that best defend, promote, claim, disclose and raise awareness on the Human Rights of all people.

The entries were focused on promoting, defending, and reporting violations of the Human Rights; or any rights recognized by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This 5th edition of the competition films from around the world, as Argentina and Colombia, were received, as well as Valencia, Zaragoza, Madrid and the Basque Country.

The awards ceremony was held on March 6 at the Basque Television Headquarters. More than 300 people attended.
